Honda CBR tech info

Honda CBR description
This Bike runs very well and has been inspected by a certified motorcycle mechanic ( I have the receipt). Comes with the following:
Yoshimura Exhaust Speigler Steel Braided Brake lines Newer tires Tank and gas cap protector Recent oil change Brake fluid change Coolant change Chain is in great condition (cleaned every 1000 mile and waxed every 300 miles) Valves checked Steering head checked Comes with stands You won't be disappointed in this CBR954RR. It has an excellent power to weight ratio and handles like a 600cc. I've never wheeled or stunted the bike. My plan was to convert it to a track/street bike, but realized it had too much power for the track. I have pics of all of the blemishes. There are no others. The rear tire has 75% tread left and will pass inspection. The front tire has 85% tread remaining and will pass inspection. Buyer pays for shipping. Bike is in New Brunswick Canada and I could deliver to border of Maine, but that's as far as I'll go. Feel free to ask any questions. I will hide nothing. Thanks and happy bidding!!! |

Honda MotoGP Production Racer Undergoes Testing at Motegi
Mon, 27 May 2013Development of Honda‘s new production racer is well underway, as the new (relatively) low-cost MotoGP racebike underwent testing at Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi circuit May 23-24. Conceived as a lower-cost option for race teams, the production racer project is running slightly behind schedule but Honda still expects it will available in time for the 2014 MotoGP season. Early reports estimate the price for the production racer to be around US$1.26 million, a substantial price, but still considerably less expensive than rumored $3.9 million it currently costs to lease a Honda RC213V for one season.
Honda Canada to Launch CBR250R Racing Series
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Honda Canada will introduce a new national racing series featuring the CBR250R for 2012. The news is no surprise as Honda has been running a CBR125R Challenge racing series as a support class for the Canadian Superbike Championship since 2008. With the CBR250R on the market for nearly a year (and reportedly doing quite well at that), a racing series featuring the quarter-liter sportbike was almost inevitable.
Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing
Wed, 27 Oct 2010One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
