Honda boldly redefines the middleweight class and infuses a whole new level of excitement for sport riders in search of superior value, along with great fun. The CBR500R delivers plenty of performance to sport riders, with its thoroughly modern, torquey 471cc P-twin DOHC engine wrapped in a great-handling chassis and featuring a full fairing spawned from Honda’s much-acclaimed CBR600RR and CBR1000RR sportbikes. The CBR500R features a full bodywork cowl and a 31-inch seat height. It’s an excellent choice for riders ready to move up a displacement class, or for any rider who’s looking for a light, sporting, do-it-all street machine.

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Thu, 17 May 2012

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
