Honda CBR tech info
Honda CBR description
2013 Honda CBR1000RR, It s hard to improve on a machine that s already as good as Honda s incredible CBR1000RR. You can build a faster bike or one with more power, but probably nothing that combines power, handling, riding quality, and overall build quality to the degree this versatile open-class sportbike does. And that s a huge issue. Riders everywhere are rediscovering the fact that they want a motorcycle that sets high standards, but sets them in a balanced way. CBR riders have known that for decades. And they know another secret: a better balanced bike can actually be faster than one with just a lot of power.MSRP: $13800

Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
Moriwaki MD250 - the stink wheel eradicator
Tue, 31 Aug 2010This beautiful motorcycle is the Moriwaki MD250 road racer, the replacement for 125cc two-strokes in MotoGP come 2012. The alloy beam chassis houses Honda’s diminutive CRF250X uni-cam motor, normally seen wearing long travel suspension and knobbly tyres. The quick revving liquid cooled four-stroke motor offers electric-start convenience and a maintenance schedule that most two-stroke racers can only dream of.
Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
Wed, 30 Nov 2011We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
