Single owner, purchased in April-2014 with 1 mile on it. Currently @ 550 miles. It may creep up if I get an itch to go out on a nice day. Haven't ridden it a whole lot lately so the battery has sat on the tender a lot this past year. Probably feels mildly neglected and I'm hoping somebody will be able to spend more time with it than I have of lately. Haven't dropped it or tracked it yet and I ride fairly conservatively when considering the intended use of the machine is on a track and getting rung out. Fed nothing buy 93 octane fuel but specification state it can take lower octane infrequently. Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
Wed, 30 Nov 2011We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
Repsol to Sponsor 15-Year-Old Female Racer
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Spanish oil company and frequent racing sponsor Repsol has reportedly close to signing 15-year-old Red Bull Rookies Cup racer Maria Herrera to its stable of riders. Herrera, the 2011 Mediterranean PreGP Champion, is the first female racer to be selected to compete in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, a youth racing series held jointly with the MotoGP tour. Herrera also trains with MotoGP racer Alvaro Bautista.
