Honda CBR description

The perfect starter bike, or a great bike for someone looking for an easy ride. This model comes with anti-lock brakes: extra safety for the new rider. If its your first bike or the first one in a few years, its hard to go wrong with the Honda CBR 250.

I rode it for a while to get around back in Colorado, but haven't found occasion to use it here in NY, working too much. MSRP back then was $4,599, you'll get it for much less. Take it off my hands and put it to work!

  • Easy Rider Since its a single-cylinder machine, the new CBR250R is narrow. Add that to a low 30.5-inch seat height and light 359-pound curb weight, and the CBR250R is as easy to handle on the curves as it is at a stoplight.
  • Super Powers We equipped the CBR250R with a fuel-injected single-cylinder engine, with double-overhead cams and a counterbalancer. Why? Because when you put it all together, you end up with a bike that delivers consistent power, mid-range torque and loads of confidence.
  • Stop with Confidence Honda's Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is a great option to add to the new CBR250R. It'll have you ready for those unanticipated challenges you may encounter while riding.

Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.
