Honda CBR description

2011 Honda CBR1000RR, Well here it is, a brand new 2011 Honda CBR1000RR from Bob???s BMW in Jessup, Maryland. OK maybe that was stretching the truth just a little. This is an almost brand new 2011 CBR1000RR that just had the break in service performed at the end of May of this year and has only 1,307 miles all ridden by a very responsible first and only owner. It has been that very cold day in you know where when a motorcycle, regardless of brand or model, has arrived here at Bob???s and all we had to do was complete the Maryland State Inspection along with our Pre-Purchase Inspection and place the bike on the floor but this bike was that perfect at arrival. We did not even need to give it a bath. This one is finished in the classic and beautiful Red and Black Honda paint scheme that compliments the cast alloy frame and swing arm beautifully. The cast wheels are factory finished in a beautiful glass black making this truly one of the bets looking machines on the road ??? just one of the reasons the CBR has remained such an all-time popular machine. This example is 100% factory stock as built and delivered new with the single addition of the ProGrip tank protector and while one might be tempted to buy a newer 2012 or even 2013 this one is close to new and offers great savings because it???s officially a two year old motorcycle. The CBR1000RR was intentionally designed to be the ultimate street bike according to Honda???s boasting. It???s been refined on countless World Superbike tracks over the years too. Between the CBR???s powerful engine and refined chassis it has even given BMW a run for the money in the liter class since BMW introduced their revolutionary S1000RR so if you???re a Honda guy or girl at heart look no further than Bob???s in the greater Washington, DC ??? Suburban Maryland or Northern Virginia region for a great value less than we???ve seen offered by other shops on lesser bikes.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
