Honda CBR description
2009 Honda Cbr 1000RR, Description: Up for sale is my 09 1000rr which i purchased september of last year and have had no complaints with. I am the second owner of the bike and me as well as the original owner have kept it in a garage. The bike has never been wrecked and up until the other day had never been laid down. The bike was recently knocked over by another bike when pushed over so it now has a few scratches and scrapes but nothing to bad. I have recently just lost interest in the bike and i could use the extra money i spend on it monthly. The bike is definitely enjoyable and plenty fast its just not what i need at the moment. The bike has been slightly modded but with this being said i also still have all the original parts and pieces that were taken off the bike originally just in case it isn't to the buyers liking. The cluster currently reads 10,243 which is way more than the bike actually has it reads higher due to the fact that the bike has been geared since shortly after i purchased it. This bike has been everything i've wanted it to be since purchasing it and has performed amazing as well. It has has one track day on it in which the bike ran a 6.1 at 121 and it definitely has a lot left in it. Modifications are as follows. -IRC swingarm extensions 7-9 -DanMoto conical slip on -Blue aftermarket 530 chain -15T front vortex steel sprocket -42T rear sunstar sprocket -steel braided rear brake line -roaring toys rear lowering link 3-4 -race filter -Shinko hook-up rear tire 180/55/17 -bridgestone battlax front $9,000.00 7576187923

R&G announce cheaper engine case cover kits
Tue, 06 Sep 2011R&G Racing has reacted to the rising cost of official motorcycle parts from manufacturers by creating money saving packages on its Engine Case Covers. As a reaction to the parts price rise, the crash protection leader has created a kit package on its Engine Case Covers (ECC) – offering an overall saving of more than 10% when compared to buying the items individually. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.
2023 Honda EM1 E: Electric Scooter First Look
Tue, 08 Nov 2022Stylish with a removable battery, but only for Europe Honda is one of several manufacturers showing off shiny e-scooters slated for 2023 release, and the 2023 Honda EM1 e: looks pretty nice. Destined for Europe (at least initially, we hope), the EM1 e: is one of the 10 motorcycle models that the manufacturer has pledged to release by 2025, with the company’s other stated goal of being carbon neutral by 2050 hanging in the balance. The e-scooter’s name is derived from Electric Moped, and it is aimed at younger potential riders looking for stylish, fun urban transportation (which explains the Euro release).
The bike whisperer...
Fri, 10 Feb 2012We've all been there. The frustration caused when your pride and joy isn't working can cause beautiful relationships to instantly turn frosty. I once spent half an hour in the rain trying to bump start my bike once, before actually checking the kill switch.
