Honda CTX1300 Spotted During Film Shoot

Last month, we were one of the first to report on these leaked documents listing several upcoming Honda models, including one CTX1300. These images of the Honda CTX1300 were taken during the bike’s promotional filming on a motorcycle that looks to be production-ready. With a body style closely resembling that of the smaller displacement CTX700, the major, and most obvious, difference with the 1300 is the larger, 1261cc engine, believed to be sourced from Honda’s sport-touring stalwart, the ST1300.

Last week, Honda revealed the modern successor to the Z50 “Monkey” bike in the new MSX125. While it’s not clear if the Honda MSX125 will be offered in North America, our original post drew a lot of positive comments from our readers so let’s hope American Honda is paying attention. Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead

The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
