Honda CBR description

I'm selling my "sickest" toy, which is this CBR954RR rocket with wheels. I hate to part with it, but honestly it's too fast for me. It's not a bike to be taken lightly. Topping out at 185 MPH, I let the throttle go because that was enough for me. It is a street-legal motorcycle with a 4-cylinder 954cc engine that seems like a V-12. This bike is seriously fast.

The bike is stretched for comfort and safety, so the front end won't pop up on me as easily. It has an adjustable extended swingarm. All you would need is a different size chain if you decide to adjust it. It has performance aftermarket front brake rotors. Make sure to use both the foot brake and the hand brake to avoid doing a nose stand. :)

Despite the insane performance, this bike has convenient features. It seats two comfortably with swing-out passenger pegs and an extra set of pegs farther up so you can stretch your legs while riding. Electric start, digital speedo, trip odometer, clock, digital temperature readout, low fuel indicator, neutral and kickstand indicators. Most of all, it has a big, in-your-face, easy-to-read analog tachometer. Fuel capacity is around 4.8 gallons for long rides. I'm including the helmet and a pair of safety glasses.

Year/Make/Model: 2002 Honda CBR954RR Fireblade
Custom extended swingarm with wide range of adjustable stretch
Performance aftermarket aluminum alloy and stainless steel front brake rotors
Oil is clean
Runs great, only fed premium gas and well taken care of. No issues at all. This monster will take off and give you all the pleasure and excitement you'd expect; please be careful because this is no toy.
Mileage: about 29,307 -- this mileage is approximate and may go up slightly as I do take it out for a test run now and then
Clean title in hand
$4900 OBO. Serious inquiries only. Please, no lowball offers. I'm not in a huge rush sell my bike, but you will surely be getting a mean machine and a total adrenaline rush, that's a bet!

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300

Mon, 18 Jul 2011

Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.

WSBK: 2012 Moscow Results

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
