Honda CBR description

They don't make them like this anymore!

They made these split seat F4i's only in 2001-2003. I bought a new one back in 2001 and had to sell it in 2005. Missed it so much I bought an identical one about 3 years ago with only 600 miles on it.

I have only ridden about 400 miles since. The bike had a few small modifications done before I got it.
  • A fender eliminator, a
  • Rear seat cowl (storage underneath),
  • Upgraded rear lights
  • Aftermarket grips
There are a few small scratches and cracks which are clear in the attached pictures.

I have video of it running and will email upon request as well.

I just don't use the bike enough and no room in the garage for it and my car, so I'm selling it.

I will include a Helmet as well!

I will not ship.

Church of MO: 2002 Honda 919 First Ride

Sun, 22 May 2022

Here at modern MO, we probably wouldn’t publish a road test of a new Honda without a few photos of the thing in action. Twenty years ago, though, there was probably a perfectly reasonable-sounding excuse: My dog ate the film, a bear ate the photographer… Most probably, somebody slud the shiny new Honda 919 down the road on the way to the shoot, and the show had to go on. Who knows?

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

Honda Teases New 2014 Off-Road Model – Video

Thu, 09 May 2013

American Honda released a video teasing a new 2014 off-road model which will be revealed in May 14. The 2:21 video was shot with an action camera mounted along the top of the swingarm as the mystery model races around a motocross track. The most obvious conclusion is the teaser is for the 2014 Honda CRF450R or CRF250R.
