2001 Honda CBR 929rr Erion Racing edition - Less than 2000 miles. This bike was owned by a motorcycle collector. The bike was purchased brand-new in 2001 and stored professionally in a climate controlled Stuart facility for 15 years. Into thousand and eight the bike was upgraded with a ton of racing parts. The collector had intended on starting an online motorcycle parts store. This bike was used as the show bike to do all the product photography. It was only ridden on a limited basis. This bike is completely flawless. It is in brand-new showroom condition. No scratches or blemishes anywhere on the bike. This is a motorcycle for a serious sport bike enthusiast.
The bike comes with a box of original stock parts and a file folder with receipts for the majority of the parts purchased. The cost for the upgrades totals over $7000. Mon, 15 Apr 2013Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.
