1998 Honda Cbr on 2040-motos
Honda CBR tech info
Honda CBR description
1998 Blackbird in very good condition. Less than 20k miles garage kept for the last 5 years. Battery tender on it during the winter ( New 2 years ago) Tires on second season.
Full Muzzy exhaust Corbin seat with original seat included 2 leather jackets and L and XL helmets included ( 500 value at least) Very fast but nimble for a 1100cc sport touring bike. For those not aware, this bike was made to compete with the Busa for the fastest production bike in 1998. Very dependable. Some very minor scuffs from wear and tear. No need to spend 10k on a comparable newer bike when you can have this one for 3500.00. Shoot, if you spent 1000 on this bike it would look brand new. Be aware, this is a very fast bike and new riders might want to look for something smaller. I am 60 years old so it has not been abused...not that a 60 years old couldn't do it. :) Thanks for looking. |

“The Retriever” is Swedish for Tow Bike
Wed, 22 Oct 2008The Honda GL1800 Goldwing may be a versatile vehicle, but a Sweden based company has developed theirs to be something much different; a recovery vehicle. According to their site, the process takes less than 90 seconds with a single operator using the handheld remote control. The bike can allegedly be driven like any other motorcycle when you are not towing a car behind you.

Casey Stoner To Test Factory Honda At Motegi
Mon, 22 Jul 2013British publication MotorcycleNews.com is reporting that 2007 and 2011 MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner will test a factory Honda RC213V at the Twin Ring Motegi, Honda’s test track, August 6-7. Stoner’s shock retirement from MotoGP at the end of the 2012 season was met with skepticism in some circles, as many believed (and still do) that the 27 year-old, current Australian V8 Supercar driver would eventually make a comeback to two wheels. As it stands, HRC has no plans to enter Stoner as a wildcard entry at Phillip Island or Motegi MotoGP rounds, and insists the former champion’s services are being used strictly to help develop next year’s RC213V and the 1000cc production racer Honda plans to introduce next year.
