Up for sale is 1997 Honda cbr 900rr Erion racing edition 2nd owner 10500 miles. Rebuilt carbs and jetted for aftermarket exhaust,new battery,plugs wires all last spring when I purchased the bike. This is a daily rider adult owned no stunting or wheelies only mods are the exhaust,fender eliminator and the jet kit of course. Also included is speed and strength jacket large and 2 helmets one med and one large. I am selling locally and interested in trades as well so I reserve the right to end auction early. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

Here at modern MO, we probably wouldn’t publish a road test of a new Honda without a few photos of the thing in action. Twenty years ago, though, there was probably a perfectly reasonable-sounding excuse: My dog ate the film, a bear ate the photographer… Most probably, somebody slud the shiny new Honda 919 down the road on the way to the shoot, and the show had to go on. Who knows?
