Honda CBR description

1993 Honda CBR600F2 in great shape. See pictures. Clean and clear title. Around 19,900 miles but mileage can increase as I still ride it. Runs great and sounds awesome. Very fast, although I never used too much power. Proper maintenance, including a tune up last year. Tires are good. Great bike for new and experienced riders. Only minor scuffs. It has K&N jet kit (stage 1) and carbon fiber oval Yoshimura RS-3 exhaust. It also has alarm and dark windshield. I will include the cover, manual, tools, and a set of front pads.

You're welcome to see it but you can only ride it if I have the money in my hands. Sorry, no exceptions. The price reflects the excellent condition of this bike (I know there are cheaper F2s out there). If you need to ship it, you need to arrange everything as I'm busy all the time. I'm only selling it because I bought another bike so I don't ride it as much and because parking in Manhattan is very expensive. Sold as is. Sorry, no trades.

The Private Life of Dani Pedrosa – Video

Wed, 02 May 2012

Dani Pedrosa is probably the most enigmatic of MotoGP’s “Aliens”. He doesn’t have the charisma of a Valentino Rossi, he doesn’t attract controversy like teammate Casey Stoner, and he doesn’t have the exuberant victory celebrations of Jorge Lorenzo. There’s also a large segment of American fans who still can’t forgive Pedrosa for taking out his teammate Nicky Hayden at Estoril in 2006, almost costing the Kentucky Kid the championship.

MotoGP 2011: 'Expert' Predictions

Mon, 21 Mar 2011

What's instore for the 2011 MotoGP season. Anticipation for exciting racing that's more likely to be largely dull, one-horse races. Here are the Visordown predictions for the top three this year: Ben Cope: Stoner Lorenzo Pedrosa James Whitham: Stoner Lorenzo Rossi Niall Mackenzie: Pedrosa Rossi Spies Mark Forsyth: Stoner Spies Lorenzo Robin Goodwin: Stoner Pedrosa Spies Barring Mackenzie and his far-out choices, it's a unaminous Visordown support for Casey Stoner on the Repsol Honda.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned  for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.
