This is an extremely Rare Honda CBR 1000. I have owned this motorcycle since 2004 but it has been stored a lot over the years because of me being out of the country and because I own another bike. It has less than 10K miles on her.
When it was being stored, it was tipped over on the right side and has a few scratches on the side. It was also backed into by a truck when it was in a parking lot so the right muffler has a dent and a few scratches on the left side sticker. I had the carbs cleaned last year but it will need to be done again. It starts but when you throttle; it cuts off. It cost around $200-300. The front screen and back fairing have been cut by previous owner for less drag I believe. Small tear in seat. I am willing to sell the trailer with the bike for an additional $1500 (I will include a small motorcycle wheel "stand" that is bolted to the trailer...also has new wheel bearings on both wheels). I may also be able to deliver for $1 a mile if needed but please plan on your own transportation unless agreed to. Please come by and take her for a ride. Sold AS IS...has the wear of something with this many years.

Gresini Unveils 2012 MotoGP and Moto3 Honda Race Bikes
Tue, 13 Mar 2012Last season, Alvaro Bautista rode on one of the best looking motorcycles on the MotoGP grid, the Suzuki GSV-R in Rizla powder blue livery by Troy Lee Designs. This season, Bautista is riding the Gresini Honda RC213V, but instead of its previous white paint job, the Gresini machine is in a sleek black. No reason for the color change was announced, though it’s possible the choice is a sign of mourning for the late Marco Simoncelli whose place Bautista is assuming with Gresini.

Thu, 06 Feb 2014I want to buy a second bike to get across town on the daily commute as I currently ride a 183bhp ZX-10R to work and while it's a peach of a bike, it tempts me into doing bad things on a daily basis. This has to stop. My criteria is fairly simple: I want something that is cheap to buy (close to £2k), cheap to run, frugal on the fuel, easy to ride, nimble through traffic, dull enough to not get nicked and ABS is a deal-maker.

Mon, 09 Sep 2013The World Superbike Championship was off this past weekend but it looks like there will be some significant changes to the grid when the series resumes next weekend at Istanbul Park in Turkey. Veteran racer Toni Elias has quit his Moto2 team, reportedly to sign with the Red Devils Roma squad to ride the Aprilia RSV4 Factory for the remaining four rounds of the season. Elias will replace Michel Fabrizio who is reportedly unhappy with late payments from the team’s sponsors.
