1988 Honda Cbr on 2040-motos
Honda CBR tech info

Honda CBR description
1988 Honda Hurricane (CBR) 1000 with approximately 18,500 miles. I purchased this Honda as a non-running project approximately four years ago. New parts include: front and rear tires, fork seals, petcock, battery, throttle cable, OEM front brake lever, and grips. Carbs were pulled and cleaned. It runs strong with no leaks or smoking. Chain and sprockets are still fine. The cam chain is noisy at idle but quiets down as RPMs increase. Everything I've read points to the tensioner and this appears to be a common issue. Some damage to the right side and a dent on the tank. Small split on front of seat. It also listed locally.

To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

2024 Honda Motocompacto Review – First Ride
Wed, 01 Nov 2023A cult classic scooter electrified and reimagined for Gen Z Photos: Honda/Wedrick Campbell It doesn’t take long to scoot around Honda’s US headquarters in Torrance, California to see how the new Motocompacto makes a lot of sense. Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.
