Honda CB description

This is was a very tough decision, but I have decided to part with my 1963 Honda Superhawk. I have owned this bike since 1994.
As a young man I spent every paycheque professionally restoring this bike. Mechanical restoration was completed at an established Honda dealership. All parts sourced at that time were NOS original from Honda which we had to order through micro-fiche. Paint was done by a renown hotrod shop with powder coated frame. Chrome was played, engine rebuilt and polished, new wiring harness. No expense was spared.

This bike was a complete restoration using factory new parts. Close to $10,000 invested in 1995, and have all receipts for the work done.
Less then 100 miles on engine since rebuild, this bike was restored, then on static display in an office since then and still in near mint condition. Kicked over regularly of course. This bike is quite an early model and has the rare aluminium front fender, high rise factory handle bars. A lovely cruiser and show bike!

I have put a new battery in, and the bike is running and driving once again this year. I don't drive if much of course since it's probably one of the last bikes restored with NOS 1960's parts. The carb could use some cleaning, but is drive able as it is.

Way too much to list in terms of restoration... Essentially everything was new NOS or restored.
Engine was polished on the sides.

A rare piece, museum worthy.
I won first place at a large show locally in 1996. Trophy is in pictures.

Featured in two newspaper articles as well. A part of my past, but willing to let her go to s new caring home.

I will sell to anyone worldwide, but shipping is buyers expense and responsibility

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

Honda VTR-Powered Lawn Mower Claims 133mph Top Speed

Wed, 17 Jul 2013

Honda UK has teamed up with its British Touring Car Championship partner Team Dynamics to produce what it calls the world’s fastest lawn mower. The Honda Mean Mower is powered by a 996cc V-Twin engine from a VTR1000F Superhawk, leading Honda to claim a top speed of 133 mph and a 0-60 time of four seconds. Based on a Honda HF2620 lawn tractor, the Mean Mower uses an all-new 4130 chromoly steel chassis and bespoke suspension and wheels from a Honda ATV.
