Honda CB description

You Don't Have To Crouch To Carve. If you love the idea of a sportbike, but favor a more classic riding position, this is your Honda. The CB500F is spec'd out with everything you want in a modern sportbike. From its 471cc powerplant to Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) to aggressive drilled disc brakes to its unique Honda Pro-Link rear suspension, this is a sportbike built to carve corners, but not cut them. And with its light weight and low seat height, it's the perfect choice for riders ready to move up to a bigger motorcycle. A Winning Twin: The CB500F is powered by the newest version of Honda's proven twin-cylinder engine. Featuring double overhead cams and liquid cooling, it extracts superior performance from its 471cc's through every part of its wide powerband. Sit Up And Ride: If you're not ready for a full racer's position, you'll appreciate the CB500F's classic riding position. You can sit up straighter, without supporting your weight on your arms. It's a great choice when you're riding around town or commuting, and you can always tuck in tighter when you want to. And it's more comfortable for passengers. Confidence Is Built-In: As a lighter bike in the 500 class, the CB500F is easier to handle, whether it's putting it up on the side stand or paddling it backwards into a parking space. And its low seat height makes it easier to plant both feet securely on the ground at stoplights. No Prep, Handling, or Set Up fees...Great Prices and even better Service!!! 2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.

Parrish's predictions for Silverstone MotoGP

Fri, 18 Jun 2010

I'm at Silverstone for the British MotoGP and Steve Parrish spoke to us all about his predictions for the podium. Parrish has gone for Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa to take the top three spots and spray the bubbly at the end of the race. Not too sure on his call though as I think Dani will be riding on a high after winning at Mugello and surely the speedy Spaniard will take full advantage and wring the neck of the Honda at the (supposedly) high speed Silverstone Circuit.

2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.
