2011 Honda CB1000R. Great condition . No mechanical issues. Has only 3300 miles on it. All stock. Changed oil and filter with OEM Honda oil and filter less than 100 miles ago. Single sided swing arm. Comes with detachable soft cases. Very handy for storage. I also have the hardware if you would like to convert it back without the detachable bags. Only selling because I am looking to upgrade. American Honda Pledges $500,000 in Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief
Fri, 02 Nov 2012American Honda announced a pledge of $500,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The contribution includes both monetary aide as well as Honda-produced portable generators and water pumps. Honda is also establishing a company fund, matching its associates’ personal contributions.
Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.
Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
