2004 Honda Cb on 2040-motos
Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
Up for sale is a rare, limited edition 2004 Honda CB50R "Dream 50" Type AR02. In 2004 Honda produced only 440 of these retro-styled bikes to commemorate their original 1960's RC110. This particular bike has never been ridden and is like new in every way. It was purchased in 2004 and has been displayed in a controlled environment for it's entire life. It has only one owner and includes the original sales receipt, manual, stickers, and a clean title. The bike has a thin layer of dust, but otherwise is showroom ready. The race stand visible in some pictures will NOT be included. Engine-wise everything is original but sold AS-IS. Because the motorcycle has not been fired up in years, I would recommend a thorough check-out by a mechanic if you intend to ride it. Please note that (by design) this motorcycle is NOT ROAD LEGAL and is Bump Start Only. Year: 2004 Color: Silver, Black Frame Model: CB50R Type: AR02 Engine: 49.9cc Power Output: 5.14kw(7.0ps)/13500rpm Torque: 4.41N•(04.45kgf•m)/10500rpm Transmission: 6 Speed Additional Details can be found on the HRC Website: http://world.honda.com/HRC/products/machine/dream50r/ Shipping: This motorycle is located in Central NY (Syracuse area). The buyer will be responsible for pick-up or arranging transportation by a shipping company (I can recommend a reputable shipper if needed). Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions! |

Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise
Fri, 09 Dec 2011After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.
Having a Randy Mamola moment
Thu, 10 May 2012Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.
The bike whisperer...
Fri, 10 Feb 2012We've all been there. The frustration caused when your pride and joy isn't working can cause beautiful relationships to instantly turn frosty. I once spent half an hour in the rain trying to bump start my bike once, before actually checking the kill switch.
