Honda CB description

This is a real clean 1992 Nighthawk 250. I bought this bike to take as an extra bike for a north Georgia mountain trip. One of the guys ended up using this bike and put about 350 miles on it. The bike, after the trip, had new tires and tubes installed (about 80 miles on them now) and before the trip, front and rear new brakes and new front brake cable, new sprockets and chain. This bike runs like new, starts right up, warms right up and rides real nice. All the lights work. I have the title, in my name. The bike has a small crease on the side of the tank- picture included, but over all very clean. Has approximately 15,690 miles. Bike must be paid for in full in 24 hours using PayPal or cash in person. Shipping is up to the buyer but I can assist with loading but not packaging.

The most beautiful race bike ever?

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi.  At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.

Pit Biking; good clean fun for all the family

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

If you haven’t tried Pit Biking yet, you’re missing out on some incredible fun, and it won’t break the bank. The majority of pit bikes are of Chinese origin and I guess, are best described as modern day monkey bikes. Yes Chinese, and I’ve witnessed them being thrashed round all day long without missing a beat, so Jonny Wong and co. are finally getting there on quality and reliability!  Although Pit Bikes are designed for off road use, an extra few hundred quid spent on matching up wheels, fitting tarmac tyres and some crash protection will mean you’re track ready for a total of around £600.

McGuinness Tests Mugen Shinden Electric Race Bike

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuinness recently got a chance to test the new Mugen Shinden electric rice bike to prepare for the 2012 TT Zero. The test took place at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan, a world-class racing circuit but perhaps not-coincidentally, a track built and owned by Honda, further fueling the belief the Mugen effort is a front for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda-contracted McGuinness put the Shinden through its first big test, helping the Mugen team gather data on the electric racer.
