Honda CB description

Rare, low mileage classic in original condition.  The 900F SuperSport was the fastest and best handling bike of its time.  This bike runs strong, shifts smoothly, and handles beautifully.  It was recently serviced at Lake City Honda in Seattle, with carbs cleaned and synchronized,  New regulator/rectifier, alternator rotor, and stator were installed, as well as new NGK plugs and a new battery.  With 95 horsepower and all of its racing technology this bike is a dream to ride and pulls hard.  Cycle World tested it when new in 1982 showing 129 miles per hour at 11.75 seconds in the quarter mile...bone stock.  Yet, it is smooth and civilized when cruising.

The chrome on this bike is excellent, the paint bright and shiny, and the seat is like new.  There is one small ding/dent on the left side of the tank that I have shown in the photos.  There is some small crinkling of the paint on the top/back of the front fender, also shown in the photos.  Neither of these flaws are very noticeable.  This motorcycle continues to draw crowds at bike rallies when it has been ridden on weekend runs in dry weather around the Pacific Northwest.  The rest of the time it resides with my bike collection in a heated gallery.

I have attempted to give as honest a representation of this motorcycle as possible and have provided pictures from every angle.  As with any bike that is 31 years old, there may be blemishes, scuffs and/or minor flaws that may not show up in pictures.  I welcome any questions that you may have and invite any bidders in the Seattle area to view it in person.  For those who can't see it in person, you can view it on YouTube by searching "1982 Honda 900F for sale Seattle".

We knew it was coming after seeing it receive certification from the California Air Resources Board, but American Honda has officially announced it will offer the 279cc Forza scooter for U.S. consumers. First announced at the 2012 EICMA show for the European market and Canada, the Forza fills a gap in Honda‘s U.S.

WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.

2012 Honda NC700X and NC700S Debut in Canada – MSRP Expected to be “Under $9000″ [Video]

Sat, 10 Dec 2011

There are no plans yet to bring either model to the U.S., but Honda is bringing its new NC700S and NC700X models to Canada for the summer of 2012. American Honda will however, likely be keeping a close eye on how the new models do with its northern neighbor (or perhaps “neighbour”) before deciding whether to import the NC700 models stateside. Making their North American debuts at the 2011 Toronto Motorcycle Show, the naked standard NC700S and the more adventure-touring styled NC700X represent a new product family for Honda, sharing the same frame and 670cc parallel Twin engine with each other and the Honda Integra scooter-motorcycle crossover (speaking of which, there are no plans for the Integra to come to either the U.S.
