Honda CB description

This is a 1982 Honda CB900 C.  Runs great, has 25,500 miles on it.  This will make someone a great bike.  It comes with a fresh oil & filter change.  Both tires are in good shape, plenty of tread left, original rear air shocks work fine with no leaks, forks look good, no rust pitting or evidence of fork seal leakage. Charging system tested with proper output. All lights, signals, and gauges tested to be in good working condition.  Carburetors were cleaned and synchronized.  Bike has a Kerker 4-1 header, and sounds great. Carbs have been properly jetted to match the exhaust and air filters on the bike.  The CB900 Customs have the dual range transmission, effectively making the bike a 10 speed.  5 speeds in the trans, plus a hi-lo gearbox.  Seat has been recovered and looks great.  This is a good looking bike.  Please look at all the pictures.  Email with questions about the bike.   This bike is sold as is, where is, with no warranties, expressed or implied.  We have described this bike as best we can, but this is a 30 year old motorcycle, and as with any used vehicle it may have issues we are unaware of.

This auction is being started with the very low starting bid of $1 per CC ( $900 ).  This bike is easily worth twice that, but in the interest of a true auction, there is No Reserve, and a low opening bid.

At Williams Vintage Cycle, we specialize in the repair and restoration of vintage japanese and british motorcycles.  We are located in Xenia, OH.  If you are local, please feel free to come by to view this bike in person.  Any shipping is up to the buyer to arrange, but we can assist however possible.  We have a few recommended companies we have used in the past.  International shipping is also possible.

Sportbike VS Rat Bike Drag Race – Video

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

In a revision of the classic hustle of tempting someone with something shiny and new with the easy mark of something old and dumpy, this CBR1000 rider lines up against a 70 hp Harley rat bike in a back alley drag race. What makes this video so compelling is the Honda rider’s unfailing belief in the superiority of his higher-powered, more performance-oriented motorcycle. He lines up against the Harley rider not once, not twice, but three times – only to get his ass handed to him each time.

The other day, Honda patented the name and layout of the NT1100 motorcycle

Fri, 12 Feb 2021

The Africa Twin parallel twin will be installed in another chassis - an asphalt tourist one. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no official pictures, only the fantasies of fans and third-party designers. Only one thing is clear - the engine will be 1100cc, and just like the CRF1100 Africa Twin touring enduro and CMX1100 Rebel chopper, the engine will be offered with both a conventional motorcycle foot-shift gearbox and a DCT robot.
