Honda CB description

Vintage 1982 Honda CB 750 C Custom

Beautiful all original 1982 Honda CB 750 Custom. I purchased this bike from the original owner in Huntington Beach, California. The bike was left sitting in a garage for approximately 15 plus years. With the help of a Honda certified mechanic who worked on these very bikes the  following work was done to bring this bike back to life:
  • Carburetors rebuilt with OEM parts
  • New OEM petcock installed
  • Gas tank cleaned and relined
  • New battery installed
  • Valves adjusted and tuned
  • Front fork resealed
  • Front brakes serviced
The bike still has the original California vintage blue motorcycle license plate. I have the Honda OEM sissy bar, original tool kit and owners manual. I also have the registration paperwork from original owner.

I moved cross country for a job transfer and the bike is now located in Miami, Florida. I have not found the time to ride and solely find myself routinely starting the bike to keep it road ready. This is my main reason for selling the bike.

The bike is all original with the exception of the exhaust. The original seat has a small tear as seen in the pictures that should be able to be repaired. The tires should also be replaced soon.

If you are a serious buyer I can show the bike to any local buyers in the Miami, Florida commuting area. I am also willing to send additional pictures or video (Facetime) of the bike starting right up.

The most beautiful race bike ever?

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi.  At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.

2015 Honda CB300F Officially Announced

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

As we expected from previously released design trademark diagrams and certification from the California Air Resources Board, Honda has revealed a new naked version of the the CBR300R dubbed the CB300F. The 2015 Honda CB300F shares the same chassis and 286cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the CBR300R. The engine itself is similar to the CBR250R’s powerplant, but with the piston stroke increased to 63mm from 55mm.

Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
