1982 Honda CB900F
Low mileage original CB 900 F that I bought to do some work on a few years ago and just haven't got to it. Been sitting inside my shop waiting to be worked on for a couple of years now. Needs battery, some cosmetics and probably some other work. Has two small dents on right side of tank, no rust in tank, paint faded some, original exhaust is in good condition. Rare bike to find in any condition, getting very collectable. I have a few bikes and I'm just thinning my collection. Yamaha, Honda Donate to Thailand Flood Relief Efforts
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda and Yamaha announced relief aid for the people of Thailand affected by severe flooding that has swamped large parts of the country since late July. Yamaha and its Thai subsidiaries are donating a relief package worth about 30 million yen (US$390,000) including 3,000 life jackets. Yamaha is evaluating what items to provide including outboard motors.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Sidecar TT 2 Results
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Dave Molyneux and passenger Patrick Farrance won the second Sidecar TT race to sweep the sidecar class in the 2012 Isle of Man TT. The duo won the first Sidecar TT race earlier in the week where they led every lap but this time Molyneux and Farrance had to mount a comeback on the final lap for the win. The Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle led after the opening lap on an LCR Honda sidecar with a time of 20:16.09, averaging 111.692 mph.
2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
