I am the second owner of this bike, the orginal owner bought for him an his wife to go touring. he had it delivered to his house an he drove around the block and dumped it he broke his arm. He put in the garage and never rode again. When i bought 4 years a ago it only had 3 miles on it !!! I had all 4 carbs rebuilt and new ties put on old ones dry rotted and I had the front fork seals replaced. I have the orginal plugs along with matching helmets. Bike will cruse all day long at 75 mph with two people. I would not be afraid to drive this bike coast to coast, it runs that good IT has the usal nicks for its age and the rims are somewhat rusty.Dont forget this is a 4cyl. This bike does not burn any oil what so ever!!!! With the trunk and saddle bags it has a lot of room for storage The reason for selling bought a victory and I havnt. put over 300 miles on in the last 2 years. I had a new battery installed this year..NO BIDDERS UNDER A TEN RATING UNLESS EMAILING ME FIRST !!!!!!!! NOTE THIS BIKE HAS ALL THE FACTORY STICKERS INCLUDING THE 600 MILE BREAK IN STICKER!!!!

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.
Honda is recalling over 20,000 Shadows in the US
Fri, 29 Jan 2016Honda is recalling 22,142 motorcycles from shipments produced between 2010 and 2016. The reason was the vibration from the engine, which over time leads to chafing of the fall sensor wire in the common harness. Dealers promise to move the wire to another location and replace the sensor free of charge.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.
