Honda CB description

For sale 1980 CB650. This auction is listed with No RESERVE highest bidder wins. I'm located in Buffalo (14086)New York and I am willing to transport the motorcycle up to 100 miles except into Canada.  Good luck bidding you won't be disappointed.

This cb650 is in exceptional  condition for its age with 18544 original miles. The paint is original and the motor has been untouched. I completely went over this motorcycle making sure it's reliability was the number one thing. Whatever you see on the bike that isn't original can simply be put back to its original spec. All original fenders, air boxes, taillights etc. will be included at the end of auction. I just drove the bike 160 miles for mercy flight charity with out any problems. I received numerous complements about the bike and people were even taking pictures with the bike.

The carburetor was completely gone through, i changed the needles, gaskets, and both jets on all  four carbs to support the air filter pods and the 4 into 1 exhaust.
The SOHC inline 4 sounds amazing when you open up the throttle.  It's got new Shinko 777 white wall tires, stainless steel braided brake line up front. The handle bars are clubman style which really go well with rest of the bike but can easily be replaced back original or another style of your liking. It also has a new battery and spark plugs.
The taillight was replaced with an led unit  and  small blinkers to make for a clean look

The pictures should speak for themselves, good luck bidding. Feel free to contact me for any questions.
REMEMBER NO RESERVE .

Old Spice ad gets, er, spiced up

Fri, 02 Jul 2010

WE CAN'T believe an aftershave worn by most of our grandfathers is still on sale, or that people actually buy it, but Old Spice has given a new twist to their popular TV ad by including a motorcycle in the promo. The commercial stars former American football player Isaiah Mustafa and ends with, what looks like, a 1970s Honda twin in a jacuzzi. It's all completely bizarre but clever.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

Honda Fury Special Edition Controversy?

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

It seems the idea that there is a “special edition” Honda Fury has achieved urban-legend levels. Motorcycle.com recently spoke to Jon Seidel of American Honda to clarify some of the controversy generated in www.furyforums.com regarding a special edition Fury model. According to Seidel, no mention was ever made to the media during the Fury’s press unveiling or in any press material or at any other time, “that any Fury color or specific Fury model was a special edition.” Seidel stated that he also queried Honda’s product planning department about the existence of any special edition models and reported that no information had ever been released or implied from Honda Product Planning as to the existence of a Fury SE.
