Brakes: Work well.

Clutch: Shifts smooth through all 5 gears. Moose Racing EZ-Pull Clutch system installed.  Clutch cable a little stiff, will include brand new unused clutch cable with motorcycle.

Carburetor: Brand new. Does NOT need carb work or adjustment, starts and idles great.

Air Filter: Stock replaced with Pod Filter for café-style look.

Battery: Brand new Interstate Battery.

Tires: Almost brand new.

Speedometer/Odometer: Both work great, both original.

Exhaust: Original and unmodified. Quiet at idle but will purr if you rev it high.

Headlight/Taillight/Brake Light: All work. Custom tinted stock headlight and star shaped taillight. Easily interchangeable if it isn't your style. No turn signals (have been using hand signals), original wires still there if you wish to re-install them.

Body: Overall very good condition. Custom fiberglass café-style race seat installed on original seat pan. Low seat height for any size rider. Small dent on right side of gas tank (not very noticeable).

Paint: Bright red enamel and a bunch of clear coat.

Handlebars: 7/8" black clubman café-style handlebars with bar end mirrors for café style look.

Decals: Custom multi-layered golf leaf CAFE decals on tank.


Recent work: Oil change with Royal Purple, brand new NGK spark plug, new gasoline (flushed system), new fuel filter, original wiring cleaned up and/or replaced. Bike is in perfect running mechanical condition.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

2012 Honda CRF250L Announced for Europe But Not For America … Yet

Honda announced it will introduce the new CRF250L to Europe this year. North American availability has not been confirmed, though it appears the new dual-sport, which shares a similar engine to the Honda CBR250R, may soon be announced for these shores. While there’s no official word on the Honda CRF250L in the U.S.,the liquid-cooled dual sport has already appeared in North America, appearing last weekend at the Montreal Motorcycle Show.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Daytona Results

James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
