Honda CB description

TIMS has a really clean and great running cb 900 custom with the hi/low gear range it has 34k miles on it but the motor is very tight and strong running  with no smoke or leaks anywhere --theres no cam chain or valve noise at all so it was obviously taken care of--it starts right up and runs extremely smooth with no carb or brake issues --its in extremely good condition and is mostly original other than the windscreen, mirrors, grips and back rest- the pipes are original ( there is a scratch in the right hand top pipe as seen in the pic) but they are otherwise  rust free and solid with no dents or dings---the paint has no damage and only has the usual small  hardly noticable scuff here and there-it has crash bars with hwy pegs mounted on them---the tires are almost new and its  shaft drive so no chains to mess with--the key surround has some scratches (from a metal key ring or multiple keys no doubt) but thats an easy cosmetic fix--  everything works perfect and its ready to ride across town or across the country-this is a no reserve auction so dont miss out on this really nice old school honda---TIMS WILL ASSIST IN SHIPPING EITHER HERE IN THE US OR ABROAD AT NEW OWNERS EXPENSE--

Honda Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 31 Jan 2012

Honda reported a 41% decrease in net income over the third quarter, thanks primarily to the rising Japanese yen, continuing effects from the Japanese earthquake and floods in Thailand interrupting automobile production. Thanks to recovering auto sales and growing motorcycle sales in emerging markets, Honda reported a net profit of 47.6 billion yen (US$624 million) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011.

Honda Reports Q2 2011-2012 Results – Record Motorcycle Sales While Auto Sales Plummet

Mon, 31 Oct 2011

Honda reports a 20.0% year-on-year increase in motorcycle and ATV sales over the second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. Despite a record second quarter for motorcycle sales, Honda saw a drop in net profit due to struggling auto sales and the aftereffects of the Japanese earthquake in March and flooding in Thailand.

Honda’s V-4 History

Tue, 06 Oct 2009

As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
