Honda CB description

Very clean, un-molested original 1980 Honda CB750C with only 14,520 miles. Runs and rides well as it is right now, but could use some TLC. Needs exhaust, as typical of this era, these mufflers have rusted from sitting an holding moisture due to their upswept angle (have seen several sets listed on ebay from $80 to $200). Also missing are both side covers which are available on ebay as well (about $100 a pair). I tore down, cleaned and re-kitted the carbs, but could use a new accelerator pump diaphragm. I tuned her with my old set of vacuum gauges, but with exhaust leaking would probably need to be dialed in with proper exhaust (attempted to patch holes with exhaust wrap, but doesn't work so well). Tank is very clean inside and does not leak even though is dented from fall-over incident in garage. The only other damage from the fall over is the chrome rim around the tachometer but is barely noticeable. Thank you for looking and more for buying. Do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have.

2013 Honda CBR500, CB500R and CB500X Spied in Commercial Shoot

Spy photographers have captured Honda‘s new three-bike 500-series in the midst of filming for a commercial at the Piazza Garibaldi in Naples, Italy. The images, published on Il Centro, reveal Honda‘s new sportbike-styled CBR500, the naked CB500R which we first revealed in September, as well as an adventure-styled model bearing the name CB500X. The three new models are expected to share the same  engine, believed to be a 470cc parallel twin.

Hero Honda Rebranded as Hero MotoCorp

Honda’s former joint venture in India has officially rebranded itself as Hero MotoCorp, revealing the company’s new logo and signaling the beginning of a new era for India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Formerly known as Hero Honda, the joint venture claims a share of nearly half of India’s two-wheeled vehicle market. Honda decided in late 2010 to end its 27-year partnership with India’s Hero Motors, buying out its 26% share for $855 million, about half the market price at the time.

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.
