Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
Very clean, un-molested original 1980 Honda CB750C with only 14,520 miles. Runs and rides well as it is right now, but could use some TLC. Needs exhaust, as typical of this era, these mufflers have rusted from sitting an holding moisture due to their upswept angle (have seen several sets listed on ebay from $80 to $200). Also missing are both side covers which are available on ebay as well (about $100 a pair). I tore down, cleaned and re-kitted the carbs, but could use a new accelerator pump diaphragm. I tuned her with my old set of vacuum gauges, but with exhaust leaking would probably need to be dialed in with proper exhaust (attempted to patch holes with exhaust wrap, but doesn't work so well). Tank is very clean inside and does not leak even though is dented from fall-over incident in garage. The only other damage from the fall over is the chrome rim around the tachometer but is barely noticeable. Thank you for looking and more for buying. Do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have. This motorcycle is for sale locally as well, therefore I reserve the right to end this listing if it sells locally. |

We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Check out the onboard video after the jump.

2014 WSBK – Assen Results
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
