Honda CB description

11th st at Spring Garden For sale, 1979 DUAL OVERHEAD CAM Honda CB 750F (Super Sport). I bought it last year as the 3rd owner and it had 18,000 mis on the clock (I still have the speedo). It was a runner and was in fine shape when I bought it. I rode it all summer/fall and then performed a frame off resto on it. I had the frame sandblasted and re painted, I rebuilt the top half of the motor, I re did the electrics to open up the frame, and stripped and painted the tank. This bike is tagged antique and doesn't need to be inspected, ever. So you don't need to worry about it passing inspection with no turn signals, etc. Working from front to back to the best of my recollection here's what I've done to it:Bobbed front fender (painted)New Fork gaiters Custom headlamp bucket (oil pressure and neutral lamps inset) with custom bucket ears. Aftermarket front brake master cylinder off a Suzuki TL 1100Aftermarket grips, throttle assy, and Moto Gp shorty clutch leverTurn signal/horn/speedo/tach/ignition key were all removedCB 600 FF high output coils and iridium spark plugsThis bike starts on switches, 1 for accessory on and the other for start, no key. I have a $60 Dime City Cycle car style ignition with key that comes with the bike. I'll show you how to wire it in if you want.Custom paint. Obviously.Custom frame work (two up seat hoop, relocated battery box and choke cable)Lithium ion Ballistic Evo battery (8 Cell)Completely rebuilt wiring harness/relocated electricsAftermarket four into 1 Cycle Exchange racing exhaustRebuilt cylinder head, decked, valves lapped, new valve stem seals, upgraded Honda CB900 camshafts, and valves shimmed correctlyRebuilt carbs with aftermarket Dyna jet Stage three kitK&N pod air filtersNew clutch cable, rebuilt calipers all around, new brake padsAftermarket rear brake reservoirCustom seat upholstery done by a professionalCustom license plate bracket/rear LED brake lightLots of extras (all original equipment that was removed), manuals, etc. Good tread life on the tires. The bike runs strong and I'm asking $5,000 for it. If you have questons let me know. I'm selling it is because I'd like to start a muscle car project. I don't have to sell it, so don't waste my time with low ball offersRyanTwo -- one Five , Eight34, Two 33 Six

Piaggio Slashes Vespa LX125 Prices in India to Bolster Slow Sales

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

Piaggio launched its Vespa scooter brand at last January’s Indian Auto Expo to much fanfare but sales have fallen short of expectations. The Vespa LX125 launched in Indian showrooms in April as the first new Vespa scooter offered in the country in 13 years, but Piaggio has only sold about 25,000 units.
