1978 Honda Cb on 2040-motos
Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
Up for sale is a 1978 Hondamatic Hawk 400A. Purchased this bike a few years brought it home and had the carbs cleaned and synced and drove it home (about 7 miles) and that's where it sat. I planned on getting it restored but that never happened. So it's up for sale. I sprayed gas in the carbs and after three kicks it started up, I tried to charge the battery but it will not hold a charge so it will need a new battery. After the bike runs a while the idle seems high, carbs will most likely need cleaned out. The bike runs through both gears just fine. After running it, I noticed a small drop of oil most likely the seals? All n all it's a nice bike and needs cleaned up. I just don't have the time or knowledge to restore it. The bike is all original except for the rear fender, someone tried to modify it. As far as the engines the previous owner said that the one is seized up the other runs I can not confirm that. I don't know what half the parts are but I will try to answer any questions about the parts or the bike the best I can. I have a clear Ohio title. If the buyer wants to ship it it's all on them. Thank you for looking

Schwantz Ousted From CotA
Wed, 20 Mar 2013CotA management obviously doesn’t fathom the depth of respect MotoGP fans have for Kevin Schwantz. It may be the newest and best racing venue in the U.S., but it seems as though CotA management is going out of its way to make motorcyclists dislike the place. Statement by Kevin Schwantz: “I have read several reports regarding my attendance at the MotoGP test last week in Austin.
“The Retriever” is Swedish for Tow Bike
Wed, 22 Oct 2008The Honda GL1800 Goldwing may be a versatile vehicle, but a Sweden based company has developed theirs to be something much different; a recovery vehicle. According to their site, the process takes less than 90 seconds with a single operator using the handheld remote control. The bike can allegedly be driven like any other motorcycle when you are not towing a car behind you.
