Honda CB description

PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS BIKE !!!!

I love it too much !!   Ok, seriously, this one breaks my heart, but here goes...

1977 CB750F SuperSport -  Honda's single overhead cam model that helped create the term "SuperBike" . Highest horsepower of all the SOHC models, triple disc brakes and blacked out motor, the SuperSport has always meant business.

This bike was bone stock and has been redone in Cafe Racer regalia but with a good amount of resto-mod and make no mistake, everything that needed upgrading was done and done professionally (as you can see from the pics). Some of the mods done are :

Cafe Solo Tail Section, Carbon Fiber style gel seat, cusotm tire hugging sport front fender, House of Color paint job with 23 coats total of candied orange over gold and silver metal flake (you MUST see this in person to appreciate it), progressive springs and new seals up front, new rear shocks, black clubman bars, rebuilt front and rear master cyclinders, stainless steel brake lines front and rear, all new cables(2 throttle, clutch and choke), fully upgraded electronics (Dyna electronic ignition, Hondaman spade style fuses and waterproof box),aluminum turn signals with LED tail light, new DID 520 chain, new front and rear sprockets (17-48),new fuel petcock, fuel lines (proper 5.5 clear) and inline filter, K&N pod filters, totally rebuilt and show polished carbs with perfectly jetted mains and idles 42 &120). new avon tires front and rear, spin on oil filter adapter, Carpy's Yoshimura 4-1 pipes done in Ceramic coated chrome with billet end cap. Back to the paint job...to put it in perspective, the paint alone was 700 dollars( not includng the cost of labor). It was professionally applied and is dent, ding, scratch or even swirlmark free.Pristine is an understatement.

This bike starts on the first kick or push of the button and chokes perfectly. After a few moments it settles into the most desireable idle you have ever heard. The sound of an inline 4 SOHC Honda 750 is breathtaking when it is done right. This bike has ZERO hickups, farts, surges or flatspots-it just goes like the devil and rivals even the most modern sport bikes with its rock solid reliabilty. It turns heads and starts conversations everywhere it goes.   She can ride mellow through town, show some modern sportbikes her led tail light in the twisties and then hit the ton(and then some) on the straightaways . Rock solid handling and reliabilty are the strengths of the CB750's from the 70's. This bike has a mere 11,100 original miles with a clean title. It has a straight frame and looks every bit the business.

All original parts are boxed and come with the bike.

I sell and have sold many bikes on ebay and continue to enjoy a 100% satisfaction rating. Enjoy a touch of nostalgia with a modern twist on this classic sport bike.

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.
