Honda CB description
I fell in love with the Super Sport series Honda designed and manufactured in the 1970's. I wanted to add a 550F to the collection, but I couldn't find a particularly good one. I ended up calling Japanese Bike Heaven in PA, and they delivered to my home an intact bike ($1600) that need a considerable amount of work. I then shipped the bike to my outstanding SOHC rebuilder in Maine; THOUSANDS of dollars later, and this is the result. I've had the bike for 8 years. Title in hand. No leaks or drips. No dents in the tank. Look at the photos carefully. Starts every time. Compliments galore. Dealer maintained. Please make sure before bidding that you actually have the money and you've researched the SHIPPING COSTS (Long Island, NY). Please don't ask me what the reserve is or can I hold the bike until you sell your house or that you'll be in the area in 3 months and you'd like to drive it, etc. |

Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.
