Honda CB description
1976 Honda Cb 500F, I am selling a 1976 Honda CB550. This bike is a solid runner and starts every time on the first or second kick. About 3 months ago I put over $5000 getting the engine rebuilt, i have all the receipts so you can see exactly what was done to the engine. Also other odds and ends such as a new heavy duty chain, new front and rear sprockets, new cables, new coil wires, and brand new electronic ignition( the bike is still kick only, no elec. starter) The Carbs were also rebuilt and brought to OEM specs at the same time. In the Pictures the air filters are off, but the are on the bike, and the seat is now black. Tires are only 1 year old. The Frame is custom built, raked out (not sure on degrees) and the rear end was stretched about 6 inches. Under the seat is a fake oil bag that holds all the electronics on tray, which is mounted to the cap. All the wiring is very simple and very easy to work on and remove if ever necessary. No front break, but i left the tabs in the forks so one can be easily thrown on. The frame is unpainted and lightly patina/rusted, just the way an old chopper should be!! I always get crowds around it any where it gets parked. You wont find another bike like this!! a lot of time and money has gone into this bike so please no tire kickers. Im looking for 6000 obo. email, call, or text for more info 602-715-5370 ask for Joe $6,000.00 6027155370

2014 Honda CB1100 Announced
Wed, 20 Nov 2013The Honda CB1100 has only been available here in North America for a year, but for 2014, the retro-styled standard is already getting an update. That’s because the CB1100 has been around for a bit longer overseas, and for nearly everywhere but here, it’s ripe for a modest refresh. For 2014, Honda is replacing the previous version’s five-speed transmission with a six-speed gearbox.
Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
