What we have here for your consideration is a very nice original paint red 1976 CB750K. The bike sat in a garage for almost 20 years, the good is that it did have a quilt over the tank and seat area. The mirrors and rear fender do show there age, the rest of the chrome is real nice, including the rims and front fender. Once I got her home she was given a good bath and started the road ready process. The front brake piston and master cylinder were rebuilt along with the front fork seals with Honda parts. Steering head bearings were cleaned, inspected, and put back together. The carburetors were cleaned and new floats and gaskets installed. ( she starts right up with no funny noises, she runs rough and the carbs need to be looked at by someone who is better at them than me ) also has a new battery. Original tool kit and owner handbook were under the seat. The side covers do not have any cracks and are in great shape. Bike goes down the road and shifts nice, all the turn signals and beeper work, brake lights work. The head light circuit needs to be checked out, had to put a new switch on the throttle side when I rebuilt the master. Just want to let you know there will be a little work needed to make her perfect !! Bike is for sale locally and I can cancel the auction at any time. Rumored 2013 Honda CBR500, CB500 Captured in Spy Photos
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Spy photos have emerged out of Thailand depicting two new Honda motorcycles reputed to be a new CBR500 and a second, naked version, possibly to be named a CB500. The photos were posted on the CBR250.net forum by someone claiming to have inside knowledge of the new 500cc Honda models which would be produced in Thailand where the CBR250R is currently manufactured. The faired version is equipped with dual headlights like the Honda CBR600RR instead of the VFR1200-derived Y-shaped light used on the CBR250R and its smaller siblings the CBR125R and CBR150 offered in some markets.
Honda to Introduce Larger “New Concept” Models for North America
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Honda announced it is following up on its NC700 series with a new large-sized model, with sales expected to begin in North America in 2013. Honda first announced plans for its NC700 models in at the 2010 EICMA show with a concept it called the “New Mid“, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise Honda would follow it up with a “New Large” series. The new models were announced in a presentation by Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito alongside plans to develop a new MotoGP-derived sportbike.

As documented in our Motorcycle Beginner articles (and if you haven’t read them yet, check out the Related Reading links below!) we’re taking a look at the new rider experience and what it means to be a motorcyclist. I’ve had a couple of weeks’ worth of riding on the new Honda CBR250R (more on that in our next Motorcycle Beginner article) and so far I’m having a blast.
