Honda CB description
I am selling my 1976 Honda CB 400F Super Sport. The bike is a well-maintained survivor with just under 14,000 miles. The bike has always been garage-kept. I bought the bike from a collector in 2010; I rode it very occasionally and maintained it impeccably. Since I've had it, I've had the carbs rebuilt and synchronized. I've also replaced the shock seals and had the front brake master cylinder rebuilt. The tires (Avon Road Riders) are relatively new (under 500 miles). The chain was also replaced, and the battery is new this summer (Yuasa, of course!). All work was done with NOS Honda parts.
While the bike looks incredible for its age, it is NOT perfect; after all, it is not a restoration. The bike does, however, have patina and character as any classic should! The bike does not have any significant flaws that detract from its appearance or value. The tank and exhaust have suffered no dents, and the engine is leak-free. The paint is in excellent condition. It runs as it should, and the transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears. I wouldn't hesitate to ride the bike anywhere. In my estimation, this bike is an excellent addition to any collection that has space for an original specimen of the motorcycle that initiated the inline four sport bike craze. I look forward to selling the bike to someone who will love and value it as much as I have. Local pick up is agreeable. Shipping must be arranged by the seller; however, I am happy to accommodate your needs on my end. I've used uShip before; I was pleased with their service. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due with 24 hours of the winning bid. Serious bids and inquiries ONLY. Thank you for your consideration. Please email me with your questions. I will respond promptly. |

Church of MO: 2002 Honda 919 First Ride
Sun, 22 May 2022Here at modern MO, we probably wouldn’t publish a road test of a new Honda without a few photos of the thing in action. Twenty years ago, though, there was probably a perfectly reasonable-sounding excuse: My dog ate the film, a bear ate the photographer… Most probably, somebody slud the shiny new Honda 919 down the road on the way to the shoot, and the show had to go on. Who knows?
Not Even Death Can Stop Him From Riding

Rumored 2013 Honda CBR500, CB500 Captured in Spy Photos
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Spy photos have emerged out of Thailand depicting two new Honda motorcycles reputed to be a new CBR500 and a second, naked version, possibly to be named a CB500. The photos were posted on the CBR250.net forum by someone claiming to have inside knowledge of the new 500cc Honda models which would be produced in Thailand where the CBR250R is currently manufactured. The faired version is equipped with dual headlights like the Honda CBR600RR instead of the VFR1200-derived Y-shaped light used on the CBR250R and its smaller siblings the CBR125R and CBR150 offered in some markets.
