1976 HONDA CB750 MANUFACTURE DATE 12/75 ONLY 1793 ORIGINAL MILES MACHINE HAS BEEN IN TIME WARP, STORED FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS! THE YOUNG MAN WHO FIRST PURCHASED THE MACHINE RODE IT FOR 1793 MILES BEFORE GOING INTO THE SERVICE, HE STORED THE MACHINE CORRECTLY WHEN HE LEFT, NO GAS, NO BATTERY, FOGGED THE ENGINE, METICULOUSLY COVERED THE BIKE WITH 3 TIGHTLY FITTED COVERS INSIDE FAMILY GARAGE, SADLY HE DID NOT COME BACK. WHEN I PURCHASED THE BIKE THE LEFT SIDE EXHAUST SYSTEM HAD GOTTEN OUTSIDE THE COVERS AND HAD BEEN BUMPED AND DAMAGED BY LAWN MOWER. THE EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS REPLACE BY A BRAND NEW OLD STOCK HONDA UNIT AT RIDICULOUS EXPENSE. BRIDGESTONE TIRES REPLACED WITH TIRES AS CLOSE TO THE OEM PATTERN THAT WAS POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE TODAY. BIKE RUNS AS NEW AND IS IN AS NEW 1976 PURCHASED CONDITION PAINT IS GOOD SOME ALUMINUM IS SUFFERING FROM HONDA DETERIORATING LACQUER FINISH NEEDS STRIPPING AND OR POLISHING. STARTED PROCESS AS PART OF A SHOW BIKE CLEAN UP BUT STOPPED AS THIS MACHINE NEEDS AN EXPERT TO DO A SHOW QUALITY PREP — A Q-TIP JOB— ORIGINAL QUALITY CONTROL YELLOW MARKS INTACT COMES WITH TOOLS AND OWNERS HANDBOOK THIS BIKE HAS THE POTENTIAL OF BEING AN INTERNATIONAL SHOW WINNER GIVEN ITS HISTORY AND TOTAL ORIGINALITY OTHER THAN EXHAUST AND TIRES. |

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
PJ Jacobsen to Make World Supersport Debut at Assen
Wed, 11 Apr 2012New York native P.J. Jacobsen has been called up to replace injured racer Pawel Szkopek to race at the Assen round of the 2012 World Supersport Championship for the Bogdanka PTR Honda team. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.
