Honda CB description
This is my Honda CB750 Cafe Racer/Street Fighter, built on a 76/77 Honda CB750 Super sport platform. I bought this bike about a year and half ago and I've only put about 450-500 miles on it. It's a shame for it to just sit in the garage so I've decided to sell it and hopefully someone will get the full enjoyment of all the work that's gone into it.
It is a full "frame off" complete custom built bike. It is a long description, as a lot went into building this bike, and i am trying to cover every aspect of the bike and its build possible. It has a Hand dished steel Super Sport fuel tank, recessed for your knees, and hand made fiberglass seat pan, with a custom seat. Front fender is a cut down stock fender, that was stripped of its chrome for paint (I removed the fender because it has some scratched paint where it came into contact with the Oil cooler, but I like the look better without the fender, anyway). Finish on the bike is great, Custom House of Kolor Candy paint, in Pagan gold, Raven black and H.O.K. Candy apple red. The frame was stripped down of every bolt and nut, the rear of the frame was "hooped", all unnecessary tabs and mounts removed, and new tabs for the brake light, turn signals, and new components, etc welded on. The Frame, rotors, trees, front end and components, etc. are all H.O.K color matched to the painted pinstripes on the sheet metal. This bike has original, fully adjustable Raask Rear Sets (foot controls) from the 70's, an 18" chrome spoke super sport rear wheel, with disc brake, color matched drilled rotor, rebuilt caliper and master cylinder, with a new stainless braided line, and new brake pads, mounted to a chromed swing arm. A new gold o-ring chain to match, and new Progressive Suspension rear shocks and springs. The front end (forks) were rebuilt with new seals and fluid, the triple trees and lower legs were H.O.K color matched to the bike, and new tapered neck bearings installed. Front wheel is a 19" chrome spoke wheel with a color matched, drilled front rotor. Up front is new chrome Clubman handle bars with new grips, new throttle, chrome "bar end" mirrors, and functional refinished factory switch housings/controls. A steering stabilizer was installed, and it has a new front master cylinder, with a new stainless braided brake line matching the rear as well. The bike has a Hand made "hidden" oil tank (approx 2.75 quart cap.), a hand made battery box with new battery (under the seat pan), and hand made "hidden" electrical box under the seat as well, with all electrics, new solid state regulator/rectifier, and all new ( custom to this bike) wiring. All hand made and "hidden" in an effort to successfully keep the area under the seat and behind the motor as open as possible, in true "Cafe" style. It also has a new Dyna Ignition Unit (electronic ignition instead of points) and a set of new Dyna Ignition Coils, Accel wires and new plugs installed as well. A complete LED lighting upgrade, Led Taillight, Led brake light, even the sealed H4 headlight has LEDs in it. Also, has new Turn Signals front and rear. The "Hi/Low" and turn signals are wired in and controlled from the factory handle bar switches. This is both electric and kick start, a push button start switch is mounted to the left on the bike just under the seat in the electrical box, and a keyed ignition switch on the right. The factory handle bar "kill" switch to shut it off is wired as well. New Speedo and Tach. The engine was gone through cleaned and reconditioned, timing chain set, valves adjusted and set, clutch, etc, everything inspected/adjusted or replaced as necessary. Then painted a ceramic semigloss black prior to installation. All new engine cover gaskets and stainless Allen head bolt set installed. New oil and oil filter. It has complete freshly rebuilt set of Jetted Carburetors that have gone through a d-sonic bath, new intake boots, new fuel lines, fuel filter, and chrome K&N washable air filters. New custom made gold braided oil lines, and front mount oil cooler installed with matching gold lines. The bike has a Custom built 4 into 1 exhaust, with new exhaust wrap installed, using color matched, gold anodized steel ties to hold it in place, and a chrome tip. And last, but not least, a new set of Tires. *******Everything mentioned above has about 450-500 miles on it.********* The only thing I can think of that may need adjusting is the front brakes. They squeal occasionally (even with new brake pads), but I'm told by the local motorcycle shop that that is common for this make and period of bike. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. These CB's are extremely reliable and bullet proof when done correctly. The bars, rear sets or foot controls, etc. are all fully adjustable, this bike can fit most any size rider. I am willing to assist in any way possible with the loading, "crating", arranging, and/or shipping of this bike as needed. With the sole understanding, that any and all costs are the responsibility of the buyer. A $850.00 Deposit is required within 24 hours of purchase/winning. And the balance due entirely within 5-7 days, unless otherwise discussed with me prior to purchase. I will accept Paypal for the deposit, or cash. I may possibly consider Paypal for the entire purchase, again being discussed with me prior to purchase, and the associated fees accordingly. No personal checks, any certified checks, money orders, or alternative funds other than cash. Lastly, the bike is for sale locally as well. Therefore, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. |
