Honda CB description

Custom built in the English cafe style is this rebuilt1975 Honda Cb400F for auction with 100 % of proceeds to be a charitable contribution.  After my wife passed away from cancer I originally built this to raise cancer awareness but I've since decided to donate funds to St. Judes Hospital for Children.  Very early frame number 1001002.

Top end redone with new rings, lapped valves with new seals and all top end gaskets replaced.  New  David Silver Spares muffler, new tires, tubes and rim bands, new Norman Hyde handlebars, front brake rotor drilled, custom seat cover and  paint, new Hagon rear shocks, power Magura style brake and clutch levers, forks redone with springs from a Yamaha 500 added for more stability, stainless steel spokes, pedestrian slicer front plate made, finned point cover, latter CL500 switch controls added, new air filter and of course oil, tool kit and owners manual included, rare tool kit cover on bike .  Kick start inoperative, electric start only.

The bad:  bike fell off lift and dented the rear fender.

Pick up at Gap, Pa...I will hold as long as necessary and help with loading.

Please check my selling history and bid with confidence. I value the 100% feedback I have received for the 1000 or so items I have sold, so if there is any problem please contact me and give me a chance to resolve it before going straight to negative feedback. I will combine shipping costs..If you buy multiple items, contact me before paying and I'll adjust the shipping cost. Shipping costs are determined by the Ebay calculator after I input the weight and package size. If you think the rates are too high, get in contact with me BEFORE BIDDING and I'll recheck the parameters or try to find a less expensive shipping method. I have just begun to offer UPS and FedEx  as  alternate shipping methods.

Thank you for checking my auction...Larry

Motorcycle Results From The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.

Spies Second at Sepang Test Day Two; Lorenzo Third

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.

Rossi and Hayden Find Improvement but Disappointed with Results

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

The good news for Valentino Rossi is he managed to narrow the gap in lap times between his Ducati Desmosedici and Casey Stoner‘s Honda RC213V. The bad news is other riders improved more than he did. Rossi completed 57 laps and set a time of 2:01.550 on the third and final day of the second MotoGP test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
