***1974 Honda CB550 Incredible survivor, unrestored, runs and rides perfect, mild patina***
Folks, rarely will you ever see a bike with the original paint and pipes this clean! All of the chrome still looks decent but could look better with some professional chrome polishing. This bike is in incredible survivor condition and runs better than it looks, seriously! The pipes are almost perfect and still have the original baffles. They are in great condition because this bike has been RIDDEN often and well maintained! This incredible machine runs like a Turbine and sounds so awesome with the note of those four exhaust creating a symphony for your eardrums, it really is exhilarating to drive! I have all of the original turn signals to go back on the bike and will package them up and send them with the bike of you want them. The previous owner installed smaller turn signals and they look great so I left them on. Take a look at the original paint, the pipes, the plush seat, the new tires, and soak up the fact that it could be yours for Christmas. The Boss Maroon Metallic bikes are VERY hard to find as most people bought the Sunflake Orange version. I have only ever owned one of these that was cleaner, no actually, that was a CB500. Again, it does need a little fun-scrubbing here and there but overall this bike is an incredible example of what Honda was making back in the day, just an incredible piece of machinery! It doesn't really need anything except a rider! Call me if you have any questions at 724-866-2571. My name is Phil |

Pedrosa, Marquez, Bradl Talk About Racing, Motorcycles, And Each Other
Fri, 05 Apr 2013In order to use footage from a Dorna-sanctioned MotoGP test session — say, for marketing or promotional reasons — a team must receive approval from Dorna. The process is tedious, and even if permission is granted, there are strict limitations as to what the material may or may not be used for. So when Honda decided to conduct its own private test (which Yamaha also joined), at the Circuit of the Americas, it was free from any and all Dorna mandates.
Someone is Takin' the Mick
Thu, 30 Sep 2010Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.
Bradl learns Laguna on a 'Blade
Thu, 07 Jun 2012As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.
