Honda CB description

Up for your consideration is a exceptionally well preserved 1974 Honda CB750.   VIN#  CB750-2355243 Engine# cb750E-2369287. Clear title in hand. 34,252 miles. Bike runs very well and goes thru all the gears fine, very responsive. Clutch feels great as well. All electrical works as it should including lights, indicators, horn, buzzer, etc. Frame and engine are very clean with no rust or damage. Factory  yellow strike marks are still present. Chrome is in amazing condition with no rust and very little to no pitting anywhere. Seat also is in great condition with NO rips or tears and very little wear at all. Fuel tank and side covers are early style CB750 paint scheme and are in  very nice condition as well. Tank is nice and clean inside. Wheels and spokes are some of the best I have seen on a unrestored bike, see pics.  This bike was oiled, covered, and put in climate controlled storage in 1992 and was just taken out recently, I believe this accounts for the great condition. Original exhaust is nice and solid. The bike will need a few things before it is a everyday rider again, tires will need replaced as the ones on it are old and cracked. Will need a new battery. The front brake will need serviced as resevoir is dry. The starter solenoid may also need replaced as it has not worked a couple times, a tap on the solenoid housing cures the problem. The front fender does have a ding on top as well (see pics). See pictures and feel free to message with any questions or to see the bike in person.

Sold as is no warranty. Non-refundable $200 deposit via paypal within 24hrs. Full payment via cash or cashiers check only within 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I can coordinate with shipper of your choice. International buyers welcome, payment via SWIFT.

Last week, Honda revealed the modern successor to the Z50 “Monkey” bike in the new MSX125. While it’s not clear if the Honda MSX125 will be offered in North America, our original post drew a lot of positive comments from our readers so let’s hope American Honda is paying attention. The 2013 Honda MSX125 will be available in Europe however, and Honda’s European arm has released more photographs of the new model.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
