Available now with a fresh tune up is this beautiful 1972 Honda CB450, built in the traditional Cafe Racer style. Starting with a 1500 mile 1972 Honda CB450 twin, this bike was rebuilt from the ground up. No bolt was left untouched and every mechanical portion of the bike was refreshed. Mechanically this is a mostly stock Honda so parts and repairs are easy. The motor was refreshed and machined to a .025 overbore and NOS valves were added at the time of the build. Partial list of all the goodies added during the build, all top quality aftermarket, custom made and brand new NOS parts used. Sun Aluminum Rims ; carbon steel spokes ; All Balls wheel and steering bearings, Continental GO! tires ; MBW turn signals ; Bikers Choice flush mount fuel cap ; electronic ignition with Dyna ignition Coils ; LED lights all around ; Acewell digital gauge. Bike has been professionally tuned and runs great. A show stopper for sure, has won awards at every bike show and always turns heads on the street. 2014 Pata Honda WSBK and WSS Team Presentation
Mon, 27 Jan 2014Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
Honda Reports 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 25 Apr 2014A strong fourth quarter helped Honda see a 9.8% increase in motorcycle sales and a 9.3% increase in motorcycle revenue for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2014. The Japanese manufacturer reported sales of 17.0 million motorcycles and ATVs over the fiscal year, up from the 15.5 million sold in the previous year. Honda’s worldwide motorcycle sales increased in each of the previous seven quarters going from 3.8 million in the Q2 last year to 4.5 million in the most recently completed quarter.
