Honda CB description
1973
HONDA CB450 6,712 miles The bike will not
start, however it has great compression.
I had it running several years ago, could be the coil not sure. Master cyclinder for front brake needs
overhaul. Steering stem bushing are worn
and need replaced. Plastic over gear
indicator light is missing. Other than
that, it would’nt take much to get this
great vintage bike back on the street again. |

Rea’s baby will have a replica of daddy’s Alpinestars racing suit with all of his sponsors and his butt patch.
Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Tue, 18 Feb 2014World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
Honda’s V-4 History
Tue, 06 Oct 2009As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
