Honda CB description

For sale is a 1972 Honda cb750 K1. Top end has been rebuilt. New rings, pistons, and gaskets. Cylinders deglazed, and valves have been lapped, holds good compression. Kick and electric start work. Carbs have been stripped and cleaned. I have jet rebuild kits for each carb which will be included. Also bought a complete gasket set, but did not get around to changing all of them. New front brake pads. It has a Dyna Electric Ignition(no points), as well as Dyna coils, new plugs and wires. I can include the old points if you want to be real old school. It has a large dent in the tank, it was like that when I got it. The front headlight has been busted and repair was attempted by the previous owner. I also have the luggage rack and some other various parts for it.
Comes with shop manual. Clean title in my name. I still take it out and put anywhere from 20-50 miles on it a week. Runs good, but it could use the carbs tuned up to get it running great. As you can see from the photos, it shows many signs of wear and use, this thing has been ridden a lot. The millage when I bought it was 36,242, and I have probably put close to 1,500 on it in the year or so I've owned it. Bought it too make a cafe racer out of, but as the story goes I got another bike that now demands more of my attention/money.  Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, and thanks for looking!

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105.
