Honda CB description

I am selling my 1971 Honda CB750K1.  Restoration included completely stripping the frame, sandblasted, and repainted.  Tank, sidecovers, and headlight ears also repainted in the factory ruby red.  Tires are  new!  Many other parts replaced like exhaust, rear wheel, mirrors, and countless small items and fasteners.  Most parts were purchased directly from Honda.  The rest of the parts like fenders, front wheel, and handlebars are still original and in decent shape.  Engine was tuned with carbs gone through.  Bike runs really nice!  The one thing I did do is have the fork tubes shortened by 1 inch since I am a bit on the short side.  Other than that bike is all stock.  Forks could be put back to stock length if requested.  This is noty a concours restoration but a vary nice driver that will turn heads anywhere you go with it.  Please email me with any questions you might have.  Thanks for looking and good luck!

I reserve the right to end the auction early as the bike is for sale locally.

American Honda Played A Big Role In Bringing Nicky Hayden Back To Team Red

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

In late 2013, American Honda was presented with an opportunity to bring Nicky Hayden back to the Honda family, and renew the relationship that started in 1999 when Hayden was just 17. By retaining Hayden’s services to ride the Honda RCV1000R in the MotoGP World Championship series for the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, American Honda is also now a proud sponsor of the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team. His first MotoGP season (2003) saw Hayden finish fifth in the championship on the Repsol Honda RC211V and win Rookie of the Year honors.

Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.
