Offered for sale is this time capsule of a late
1970s Bay Area Chopper, and a former magazine cover bike from 1981. The bike
features a Gary Little John prism tank, an Arlen Ness hardneck front frame section, and
a very rare Crazy Frank rear Fender. Crazy Frank fenders alone have been known
to sell for $1,000. These old Japanese period choppers have a real following,
and are popular with many new collectors. This old show bike that is ready to
be restored to its former glory. The bike has been sitting since the later 1980s, and the skim coat of plastic that's on it is braking down, so the bike will need to be blasted back to bare metal and done over. But it's a great start for a Winter restoration. The bike comes with a clear matching number Virginia title, ready for the new owner to transfer into their name. The engine turns over, but the bike is not currently running. It's missing the exhaust, seat and brake calipers. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Payment expected within one week of auction end. Bike must be picked up within one month of auction end. Overseas sales are fine, but I can not help with shipping quotes. Cash or Check accepted. MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.
WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point
Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
