Honda CB description

Up for auction is this beautiful 7/1970 Honda CB175 Super Sport. Bike starts, runs and rides great. Newer tires, newer AGM battery, and newer electronic ignition system from Charlie's place. It has been really nice to run without points. Starts easier, runs smoother. Local vintage motorcycle shop went through the carbs this spring, and also replaced old worn steering bearings with new tapered roller bearings. They did the ignition install, too. Have receipts, more photos. I'm the 3rd owner, will also include a vintage Clymer manual. Not original paint, kinda cracked in a few spots. Side covers are a bit faded but not damaged. Missing one emblem from tank. Inside of tank is beautiful clean metal, not a speck of rust. Chassis has some grime and grease, could use a good professional detailing. Chrome is good, will clean and polish nicely. Original airboxes, I just cleaned them up and re-assembled when I got the bike. I bought it this winter and I've put 900 miles on it this year. Have changed the oil 3 times, never gets low or even dirty. Brakes work well, clutch is a little stiff but it works fine. 5 Speed trans shift smooth. Has neutral light. High, low beam and light off switch all work. Turn signals, horn works. Electric start, cranks great from the AGM battery. Kickstart is damaged, though, does not work. Honestly have never needed it. The seat is really nice but does have one small hole in it.

BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. IF neaby though, I could load it in my truck. I'd be willing to go 100miles around the Detroit area, for a small fee.

I don't want to deal with your shipper, or your shipper's check for too much money, or your payday advances, or your brothers cousins wife or any crap like that. You want the bike, bid on it and have a plan to get it home. Catch a plane, ride it home!!

This bike has a ton of potential for a new rider or for a race bike or to be torn and stripped down to something crazy. Great lightweight chassis to start from. Gets me to and from work for now so miles will go up about 70 per day. Send questions to pnuoffer@gmail.com

Thanks for looking, happy bidding!

Dani Pedrosa And Marc Marquez Playing On Trials Bikes – Video

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

An under appreciated pocket of our sport, trials riding is some of the most difficult there is. Combining balance, grace, and visual awareness — along with deft clutch and throttle hands — riding a trials bike is hard. Here Repsol Honda MotoGP riders Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez try their hands at it with the help of two of the best in the world: Toni Bui, world champion many times over, and his Repsol teammate Takahisa Fujinami.
