I AM LISTING THIS FULL CUSTOM 1971 CB450 CAFE RACER BUILD. I RECEIVED THIS MOTORCYCLE ON TRADE FOR SOME WORK I DID A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN THE CUSTOMER HAD NO MONEY. SINCE THEN IT HAS SAT IN THE CORNER COVERED UP. IT RAN WHEN I GOT IT BUT I HAVENT STARTED IT FOR A COUPLE YEARS, I AM NOT A HONDA MOTOR MECHANIC SO I HAVENT ATTEMPTED TO GET IT GOING, IM SURE IT WILL RUN WITH A LITTLE TUNIN. UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT REALLY A HONDA GUY AND NEED TO FUND A NEW PROJECT. ONLY BILL OF SALE. THIS IS A FULL CUSTOM CAFE RACER BUILD THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A DANG GOOD FABRICATOR!! Honda has patented its development in the field of interactive technologies that prevent accidents, following BMW. The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.

2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report

The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
