1971 Honda Cb on 2040-motos

Honda CB description
Up for auction is a 1971 Honda CB750. It has 17,484 miles on it. There is NO TITLE. The bike is overall in really nice condition and these older CBs are getting very hard to find. The bike starts right up and runs great. The bike sounds great, excellent exhaust tone and no abnormal engine noises. It shifts perfect and smooth. The clutch has a great feel and is nice and easy. Front and rear brakes work great. All the chrome is in really nice condition, both wheels have minor rust spots. The original exhaust is really nice, right top pipe has a small hole (see picture). All the lights are in working condition. Could use a turn signal flasher. The seat looks excellent, it has been removed, but looks like new. It is missing the latch part on the seat. It is missing both the side panels, tank has been repainted and has some dings. Inside of tank looks good. Tires are in good shape. Both gauges work properly but are discolored. Overall this would be a great bike to hop on and ride or a very easy restoration for your collection. I am willing to ship the bike anywhere in the world. All shipping costs and arrangements to be picked up at my location are buyers responsibilities. If you have less than 20 feedback please contact me prior to bidding.

Record Number of Entrants (Sort of) for 2012 Isle of Man TT Zero
Mon, 23 Apr 2012Mark Miller, seen here aboard the MotoCzysz electric race bike, won the 2010 TT Zero. Team Segway Racing MotoCzysz will again return to the TT Zero with past TT Zero winners Mark Miller and Michael Rutter as its riders in the 2012 race. The Isle of Man TT press office today announced a total of 18 entrants in the 2012 SES TT Zero electric motorcycle race — a record number of riders according to the IoM TT website.
Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
2014 Honda CB1100 Announced
Wed, 20 Nov 2013The Honda CB1100 has only been available here in North America for a year, but for 2014, the retro-styled standard is already getting an update. That’s because the CB1100 has been around for a bit longer overseas, and for nearly everywhere but here, it’s ripe for a modest refresh. For 2014, Honda is replacing the previous version’s five-speed transmission with a six-speed gearbox.
